3 Years in 1 Post!!

So our family has had some crazy times in the past 3 years! A ton has happened and it really threw me off of the whole online writing gig. I'm back now!! So just some major updates of things that has happened over the past 3 years.
To get the yucky stuff out of the way in the short version:There have been a few deaths in our families, diagnosis's given, accidents that have happened, we've moved 3 times, and we have worked our bums off!!!
PHEW!! Now that that is all out of the way here are some positives!
(These will not be in Chronological order they will be in order per person, I'm working with a scatterbrain now!)

Kimberly:
Switched careers and stopped going to the university for awhile. She went through a year long Medical Assistant program, graduated and started working in the medical field for a doctor. Over the past year she has worked for 3 different doctors in 2 different specialties. The last doctor she worked for was her favorite!!! He is a great guy and an amazing doctor! She still wants to continue her education at the university someday just not right now. She also would like to maybe move up and continue in the medical field when that day comes. For now she is working from home and has the best job EVER!!! She had also chopped off her hair and donated it in honor of her dad after he was diagnosed with cancer.

Brady:

Constantly working to provide for his little family, he is an amazing man! He has graduated from the University with his BS! WOOT!! He is tossing up graduate programs and possible career choices at the moment. He is still in the military. He has recently been promoted at the bank into a great Banker position. He is also currently working part time at nights at Lowes to help us out because we are transitioning to Kimberly being at home.

Family:

From 2 to 3!!

We are now a family of 3!!!!! The best part about the past 3 years: MAIZIE JANE!!!!! We found out that we were pregnant on my 25th b-day. (Let me tell you what, BEST Birthday present EVER!) The pregnancy was rough and there were a few minor complications but still went on! Was Due on October 23rd, 2014. Went into Early labor Sept. 24th. Stayed in early labor till October 9th. Water broke right before 5 am in the morning. Checked into the hospital at about 8:15am... Had a few complications throughout the day, some more scary then others. (almost ended up in an emergency c-section twice: my body wasn't progressing the way it needed to, and every time they tried to help it medically it negatively affected Maizie and we would loose her heartbeat.) Everything finally came to a close in the middle of the night. Brady snoring on the couch and being woken up by me yelling, "Brady wake up!! I'm at a 10 and I'm pushing!!" Pushed for about a half hour and then: Out came the most beautiful thing we have ever seen. Only 5lbs8oz of this little bundle of joy changed our lives forever at 12:45am on October 10th, 2014.
We've had some rough moments since then with some health issues but are doing better now. We are currently at Brady's Parents and it's awesome!! They are amazing!
We are excited for a few specific things in the near future! We get to have our first Christmas as parents. We are going to be seeing a lot of family this Christmas that we haven't seen for awhile. We will also be having our 5th Anniversary of being married.

Well I think that is a pretty good sum up of the past 3 years and where we are currently. I will be doing better from now on at writing online. Especially because I'm at home and have more of an ability to. :) I will also be revamping my other blog: Kimini's Space it will be more about me and projects I'm working on as well as other things I'm interested in.

Well enough for this post! Mommy Dear signing out!

WOW How Time Passes

It's incredible how horrible I am at blogs... lol Seriously though. Hopefully I'll do better this next year as it's part of my resolutions. Just a quick update on us. We are still doing great! Christmas break from school was amazing this year!!! We were able to finally take our belated and well needed honeymoon getaway. It was SO much fun being together for a week just doing fun things. Not having to go to work or school. It was Awesome. We are both still wishing that the break would be longer, yet we both look forward to next semester. Other than that not much else has changed in our lives. Nothing to exciting except our trip and being able to spend the holidays with family this year. That's all for now. I'll write again next year lol......but I promise it won't be the only one next year. ;)
This is a picture of us in an old fashion Horse-drawn Carriage going around looking at all the Christmas lights. :)

Hey everyone!

Well Brady and I are doing pretty good still. We are continually trying to settle more and look for a job for Brady. We are working on getting back into school and get busy working on the future.

Brady is doing pretty good working a temporary job right now through SOS. But is still really REALLY wanting to find something more permanent. If anyone knows of anything here in Utah county Please let us know. He is going to school for Business with an emphasis in International Business. So it would be nice for him to get a job that is related to what he wants as his future career. He is being VERY supportive and a great help to me as I continue to struggle through my pain and the life changing things that I have to deal with right now. He is the BEST husband I could have ever asked for. Actually he's even better than that. I love him SO much and I hope that I can continue to become a worthy wife for him. :)

I'm still working on healing up and trying to recover from the difficulties pertaining to the car accident 2 months ago. Right now I'm stuck and home still and I'm not allowed to work. I've had a lot of time on my hands and have recently been inspired to go after an old dream. When I was younger I used to write short stories and all sorts of stuff like that. I am a major book-worm and after being inspired and having a bunch of free time on my hands, I've been come an aspiring writer. Hopefully this will take me somewhere someday, but we'll see for now. Because I want to be a writer I have to be in the writers mind-frame, so I'll be on my laptop writing each and every day. Which means I'll actually be keeping up on my blogs now. :) I also have a new blog specifically related to my writing and what I love: BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS. So if you'd like to check it out and follow how my writing is going as well as some book reviews, etc. on it here is the URL.

We are both loving being home and spending time with Family and friends and for those that we haven't had the opportunity to see or spend time with, we still love you! We are working on finding time to spend out of the house, away from job hunting, and some time away from preparing for school lol. So Please Don't think we forgot about you!! We haven't.

We had the opportunity to go over with my family yesterday. My mom and I threw a surprise birthday party for Tim, Liz, & Bailey. We all miss her very much but I think celebrating her birthday was nice for all of us and a little therapeutic (for me at least). We were able to write messages on Baby Pink balloons and send them up to heaven to Bailey. Damian was having a blast, he colored on two balloons and made special pictures for his little sister. Then of course we HAD to make sure Bailey got one from Braxton too. So we gave him a marker which of course he gripped onto and held it, and Tim moved the balloon around. That way Braxton got to do a balloon for his big sister. :) It was an amazing day and I'm so Glad that we did it!
WE LOVE YOU BAILEY!!!!

Well I'm going to head out now, I've gotta go run some errands. There's an update on us and how we are doing. Love to all!!!

Wow I need to be a better blogger!!! Update since last post!

Hey all!! Brady and I are back in Utah!!! We just moved back and we are looking for a job for Brady and working on us both getting back into school!!!

California for us this last year was awesome! However it was also hard because we were away from Family. We are back now and we are both loving being around our families again.
Here's a quick update! on what happened the last few months in Cali and what's going on now!

For Thanksgiving we were able to go up to a friends house in Scott's Valley. Through part of October and the first part of November, (up till about thanksgiving) we had a really good friend Shaun living with us. He has a family member living in Scott's Valley and we were able to meet him and his wife Nickie. Brady and I both admire them and they are such a fun couple to spend time with and be around. They invited us up for Thanksgiving with them because we didn't have any family close enough that we could go have dinner with them. It was a blast. Then we invited Dan and Nickie down for a Christmas dinner with us. We were able to get together with them meeting halfway at a restaurant shortly before we left for Utah and have one last dinner with them. I wish we had more time to get to know them better. I definitely admire them both and love being around them.

Christmas was good for us out in Cali, we both felt like we were showered in Christmas presents, especially for our first Christmas away from our families. Our families and friends spoiled us!
The main thing I got for Brady was the special extended edition of The Lord of the Ring Trilogy as well as a copy of the original story by J.R.R. Tolkien. I know that The Lord of the Rings is one of his favorite story lines and I definitely like it too! We were able spend an entire day doing a Lord of the Rings Marathon over Christmas Exodus where that's all we did was eat munchies and watch all three Extended Versions! It was awesome!
My main present from Brady was my new pair of Pointe shoes. (While we were in Cali there wasn't a lot of opportunity for me to do the Ballroom that I like to do, so I found a great Ballet coach and worked with her. She was able to help me get my technique and ballet focus back and I made it back into my Pointe shoes!)

For New Years we were able to go Whale Watching in and around the Monterey Bay with a Whale watching company with Marine Biologists on the boat and everything! It was FREEZING cold out on the water because it wasn't sunny or anything. But it was a lot of fun, we were able to see a small pod of about 5 dolphins and two different Grey Whales. it was a fun experience. We are hoping someday we'll be able to see Blue Whales, Orca's, Humpbacks, etc.

Brady turned 25 in January and we were able to take a drive down the coast and visit awesome sites and see great waterfalls etc. And we were also able to go to a beach covered in Elephant Seals and get some pretty good pics and videos. It was a nice relaxing day and we had a lot of fun just being together and going for a drive on a beautiful sunny day for his birthday.
At the end of January as we were preparing to move back home, I had the unfortunate incident of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was about 3 blocks from home, stopped at a red light and a guy in a big company van wasn't paying attention and didn't stop. He caused a 4 car pile up/bumper to bumper. Me and my little Blue car were squished in the middle. The car has since been repaired which is good, but there were over $5,400 worth of damages. The multiple impacts and the force of the impacts sprained my back, gave me whiplash, restructured the Cervical Spine in my neck and tore my Inguinal Ligament in my left hip. It's been a struggle but I'm slowly recovering. My body won't stabilize yet and I know that it's going to be a long haul.... I know in my heart I'll be able to dance again for fun and for the love of it, but I also can tell that I will probably never be able to handle the stress it takes to dance as seriously as I was before. It's frustrating but I'm just going to try to make the best of it.

On our move back home right before my 22nd Birthday we stayed in Las Vegas. We combined both Valentines and my Birthday and we went to see The Lion King on Broadway while we were there. It was AWESOME!! We also were able to go to the Titanic Exhibition. That was also way cool!!!! We stayed in St. George and got to see Nic and Britt and the girls while we were there.

Now we are back in Utah and just trying to settle in. We are trying to find Brady a job (so if you know of anything please let us know!!) Then we are both getting ready to go back to UVU for school. Brady might end up transferring later on to BYU or something but for now we will both start back as Wolverines! YAY!!! We are both stoked to be back and loving life. We hope to be able to see everyone soon now that we are back and getting settled!

Hopefully now that we are back and have the Internet I'll be a better blogger. :) At least I'm hoping and Praying that I will be. :) Until Next time. We wish you all the best!

Marriage- A must Read

Ok So it's been awhile I know I'm horrible at keeping up on things like this online but hey every now and then is better then never right? lol So all is going good, same old same old. Brady is still in Chinese and I'm just going to school working on my degrees. I got a part-time temp job for a bit I'm excited to be able to help out a bit financially for awhile... especially cuz we just had to pay $500 to fix our car.... We love our apt but have more problems with the mold from the humidity than anything! Right now I'm on a trip to Utah to spend time with family. It's funny how you can not plan anything so that you're so open to spend time with loved ones and friends and then I've been here for only a day and I'm already stressing because my schedule is so booked up! What happened to those carefree summer days we used to enjoy as kids? Running through sprinklers, eating popsicles, playing with friends... Oh yeah.... reality and adulthood kicks in lol. JK it's not that bad... just life. :) Anyways I'll post some pics soon of things that have happened this summer. :) But first I just read this story and it brought tears to my eyes and I really wanted to share it. I hope you enjoy it too, it makes you think about what's most important in life.... When I go back home... I'm going to ask my husband to do this for me forever, lol he wants to bulk up more muscles anyways.... :) And I want to loose a few lbs so it'll be good incentive to do both of those and for each of us to accomplish a goal. :) Anyways Here you go!

MARRIAGE When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her! With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now. The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again. In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request. I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office. On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her. On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart. That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead. My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.-- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband.... The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage! If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you. If you do, you just might save a marriage. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. A CHRIST-CENTERED MARRIAGE IS A MARRIAGE THAT IS SURE TO LAST A LIFETIME. So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate. Matthew 19:6

Easter And Life Here.

So Conference weekend was pretty great for us! We've been pretty busy lately doing a bunch of stuff. Brady of course studying and me getting ready to start school. I'm actually starting a class tomorrow morning! YAY I'm excited!!!! I'm taking a swimming class Tomorrow through the ending of May. I need to learn how to swim better for one and because now that we have a pool I'm going to want to swim laps and exercise in it. Plus I want to be a better swimmer for my kids when they come... in like 4 or 5 years. (Yep we've decided to wait longer so that we can get through school and get better jobs to be more financially stable.) So not too much has changed here, Brady is still busy studying and learning Chinese all the time and I'm just decorating our apt, going out with the Sister Missionaries, reading, and doing my own thing. I'm really excited to get into school again. Even if the only class I'll be taking for the next 2 months is a swimming class. That just means I'm that much closer to going full-time again starting on June 14 :) YAY!!! School!!!! Homework!!! Learning!!!! I'm so excited!!! Conference was.... pretty much... AMAZING!!! I loved it!! It was the first time I watched it over the Internet but it was live so it wasn't too much different! Easter was good for us. We got an early Easter present as a couple, Some furniture for our Balcony as well as this really pretty plant and pot that actually sits on the table now so that it can still get a little bit of sunlight lol or else it doesn't get any.... And then this weekend because we aren't with family to celebrate Easter we celebrated with some of our friends tonight. We had the Adam's (Shaun, Lisa, and their daughter Isabelle) and the Cardenas's (Manny and Melissa) They are two couples that are in our ward and that live by us. One in our complex and one in the complex next to us. They are awesome. We hosted it at our place and I did the main dish. A family recipe of chicken and rice in the crock-pot (Thanks mom it was a big hit! Just like the enchiladas that I make :) The Adam's brought some fresh homemade dinner rolls and the Cardenas's brought a yummy Turtle pie for dessert. It was lots of fun. It was the first time Brady and I have done anything with the Cardenas's so we got to know them better. Yesterday we bought another new book self because ours were just looking too cluttered because there were two many books on the shelves and stuff and I still haven't put all my books and stuff out yet.... But I was able to do cute little things on each shelf now too so I like it... and having the smaller one actually makes our living room seem bigger too. Here are the changes and the new things in our apt.... This is our new little bookshelf. It has only Church stuff on it that we've collected then some statues and a picture on top. (Can you believe that little white thing on the wall is the only heater we have for our entire apt? crazy huh?!?!? it's like a little space heater except it the wall... It's such a pain!!) This is our shelf that's in between the entertainment center and the desk. On the second to top those are a picture from our wedding reception and then our MARRIAGE FOR TIME AND ETERNITY Certificate from the temple from our Sealing. This one is the one by the kitchen. on the second to top shelf is a little memoir thing for our wedding. It has our guest book, and invite to the wedding, one of our two cake toppers (the other is on our entertainment center) our cake knife and server, a picture of our whole family (his and mine) and then a picture of me my maid of honor/BFF and my little flower girl(her daughter)(one of my flower girls that is :) there's another close up on there of that shelf. (You'll also see our balcony chairs right next to it... yeah it's been raining almost solid for the past like 6 days so we haven't been able to use our balcony recently lol) This is my "Family" Wall. It's in my entrance hallway. There are some new family pictures of Brady and I after we were married. And then a picture of us and my family and us and his family. It's nice to have that up and have that be the first thing we see when we come home. (There's a further away shot too that shows our little door hanger thing that my mom bought me awhile ago) We also got a new little stand thing for our Microwave and appliances finally so we have a counter again... (not very big haha but still)!!! My new Sentsy thing on top of the micro. YAY!!! I love it!!! As well as a new cute pendulum clock that's hanging over by where my apron hangs... Well other than that not too much different in our apt. One other thing I wanted to write about is our Friends Cory and Joy: Last Sunday they took us boating out in the bay on his sail boat. It was way fun! They are great friends and awesome people! Besides our apt Manager Laurie (Who's AWESOME!) They were our first friends in our complex! (By the way yes it's way big like 50 apartments all together) We do dinner every now and then and it's great fun!!!! (I actually am going to be posting an Online AD for Cory for his business next week on here probably so check it out!) While we were boating we seen a whole TON of seals and sea otters. It was great! We actually watched two huge male seals probably weighed a ton each, have a territorial fight over this spot to lay down under the dock. It was awesome they were yelling at each other and stuff it was great. There were a ton on this rock island as well. I'll post some pics but you can't see them too well.. The pic is of one of the docs that there were big male seals but I guess my phone didn't save pics of the rock island thingy so next time I'm down there I'll take more pics. (Just know that the ones with all the rocks (at least when I post them) there was at least one seal (mostly female the males were all up on the docks lounging around) per rock on the lower level the most we seen stacked (like dog piled on one another) on one rock was 5 if I remember right. So for these pics though... Look under the blue sign under the doc... You can kinda see a couple of the big males all up there... and yes there get clear up there alone they jump really high out of the water! It's amazing and you can only see a few here but they are all over under the docs... I couldn't video tape the fight because it was so chilly I couldn't feel me hands anymore by that time....(stupid disorder ugh.) (And yes that boat is called the Little Mermaid it made me smile! For my family who knows why that's something to me lol)

It's pretty cool we see a lot of wild life where we live, we usually see at least 3 deer a day too... Brady sees them on base more than me because he's there every day but there are usually some around by where we live too! It's great out here! Just cold and rainy lately :)
Well I better get going it's late and I need to get up early tomorrow for school!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!! LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!!

The Most Recent

So I finished off my trip to Utah, earning enough money to pay for my summer tuition, books, fees, and equipment for school! YAY!!!! I also was able to do something with my mom while I was there, As most of you know I'm a Certified Permanent Cosmetics Specialist, well my mom ended up choosing to get her eyeliner done with me. So we kinda made this pack, because she knew that even though I do this as a hobby job and love doing it and loved the thought of having it done I'm just a big chicken inside and hadn't had it done on myself yet.... Well I have now!!!! My mom let me do it on her and she did AMAZING!!! Her medication wasn't even kicking in and she held so still and put me in awe. And totally made me more excited to get it done! Because she warned me if she actually did go through with it all the way there was NO way in anywhere that I was allowed to back out. Which I didn't!! But I can tell You I wasn't as good as her... I didn't hold still as good and I probably cried for part of it... But then again I have absolutely no pain tolerance what so ever!!! I envy the pain tolerance that once of my clients has, she came in last minute to get her eyeliner done, she didn't even have so much as a Tylenol in her system. I swear she didn't flinch one bit and didn't shed one tear!!! I wish I was like that Sam!!! :) So I pretty much bruised I think because I moved so much... yeah funny my medication was in my system but chose to kick in after the procedure was over... I supposedly did things like: putting my shoes on the wrong feet, couldn't tell what colors my cookies were that I was eating, was arguing that I wasn't tired and wouldn't go to bed without a snack (hence the cookies) And made my parents and my husband laugh for a bit.... oh and also my best friend Brooke and her man Seth... guess I called them up and talked to them.... :) But they are healing and looking SO good!!! I'm actually thinking I'll be able to handle the touch up better now that I know what to expect and I'll not let my anticipation work against my medication.... :) I'll post some picture of them once they are totally healed,... I love the color that we did too!!!! :)

So now I'm back at home with My loving husband!!! Hooray!! However the plane ride here ugh.... I've never had an altitude drop that fast or flown by myself... I started it off with the beginnings of a sinus infection. After the Hour and a half ride in the clouds... I landed with a full blown sinus infection, no nose breathing capabilities, no chance of popping my ears, and no chance of seeing a doctor and getting on medication for at least 2 and a half days... YUCK!

However it was lightened a little by my surprise to a little bit of a Romantic side that my husband has... AWESOMENESS!!!!! I came home to be blindfolded on the door step and taken to the kitchen to be fed a couple M&Ms and fresh strawberry's. Then un-blindfolded to a gorgeous new bouquet of flowers, and rose petals all over the apt. with specific prizes surrounded by the most petals. my silk robe on the couch, a whole hour massage set up on the bed with romantic music and then a relaxing bubble bath to top it all off! My Husband is AMAZING!!!

UGH I must have been a pill to deal with after-wards though... I know first hand I'm no fun when I've got a sinus infection (ask my mom too haha) I'm definitely what you call a Nose Breather. I prefer to have a more silent breath and have my mouth closed while breathing... Especially when I sleep!! So needless to say I haven't had much sleep the past few nights due to not being able to breath through my nose. Stupid huh? yup! But luckily I'm on medication now and it's getting better.

I got a small back up sitter job, and I've already got 2 days lined up in the next week and I'll be getting paid like $10 an hour so it'll be good cuz I'll continue to earn more money for my schooling!! YAY!!! Here is the plan that I've set for myself with my education. I'm going to go to MPC to get some needed credits accomplished while I'm out here in CA... then I'll transfer back to UVU and keep my major as it is. Yes I'm going to give Dancing another shot. It's the only thing that my mind keeps bringing back to me when I try to decide what I want to do to make me happy. However there is more to it this time. More of a Goal of what I want to do with my life along with dancing.... I'm going to add on a minor to my schooling. So I'm going to Major in Movement Studies with an Emphasis in Ballroom Dancing and Minor in Deaf Studies. Once I accomplish my Bachelors Degree in M.S. I'm going to change my Minor to my second Major and then work towards finishing off my BS in Deaf Studies, probably with an emphasis in Education. Hopefully then after I graduate I can work on getting my Masters Degree so that I can use both my Dancing Career and my Deaf Studies Career to teach at a University Status/College level. Or at least that is the hope. :) We shall see how it all plans out.

Well there's an update on me.... a couple new things that have happened and are coming up for me. Brady is still studying Chinese and everyday he speaks it aloud around me it makes me smile. He is doing so well and he is always studying and I can tell that it's paying off. I still hope and pray that this will also help aid us in receiving an opportunity to visit China someday. Something that we've both talked about and dreamed about one day doing since we were younger and now as a goal that we wish to do together.

We love everyone and we definitely miss everyone back home in Utah! We can't wait to be able to come home and see everyone together in April!!! You're in our hearts and our prayers!

Our New APT

Ok sorry it's taken so long to post this.... I was busy trying to get ready for my trip back to Utah for a couple weeks... (which is where I am right now!!! Yes I'm home for a visit!! And for some client touch up and stuff too!!)
Not to much has changed in our world... Brady is still doing good at learning his Chinese, he's always busy busy busy with that!! I've still been looking for a job and applying at several different places! Right now I'm mainly looking towards being able to start school in the summer because I missed the registration deadline for spring... And then I'm going to look towards seeing if I can get a job on campus or something but we'll see... I'm enjoying my time in Utah seeing family, friends and the cute new addition to our family! Her name is Suzy-Q and she's a Pure Breed Chocolate Lab and she's adorable!!!! That and just doing a couple Permanent Cosmetics appointments and some cosmetology appointments as well for some of my clients!!! So if you want something done let me know!! Anywho I'll write more later here is our new apartment!!!!

Love to all!!!!!

WELL.....

Ok so... We have a little news... I'm still going out with the missionaries at least once or twice a week. I'm totally loving it!!!! The other day was really hard though because we had a rejection day....The sisters had two investigators that I had previously gone to appointments with them at their houses decide that they just aren't ready for the word. It was a tough day. Then they called me about the appointment the next day and he had to reschedule so... hopefully they didn't have another R. Day yesterday or today. I'm going out with them again today so I'm excited!!!
So yesterday.... Brady and I woke up at about 5 am (normal for him, unusual for me haha) to be to the Urgent Care clinic on base by 6am. We were there from 6am till about 9 am... this is what we left with.... hahaOk so here's the story..... He had a Basketball game on Tues. night. (he's on his companies team)
So they start playing and about 2 Min's into the game they tag him in.... They go onto offense and Brady gets the ball, he shoots, he scores a 3 pointer, swish. They go back on defense get to the other side of the court, Brady steals the ball back, goes to swerve around an opponent and twists his ankle inside. You know when you're watching TV and someone twists their ankle so bad it's like your watching it in slow motion and you think to yourself, "Dude that had to hurt" yeah and you're also thinking, "seriously, that was unreal". Well that's what his wife, me, :) was thinking to myself off on the sidelines.... So he twisted it and it automatically took him straight to the floor but as he was falling he kind of fell on it hard. He ended up having a REALLY bad sprain, and has a nasty bruise or two. Luckily it's not broke. However he's on crutches and in this boot for a minimum of 3 weeks.... then he has to wear an ankle brace after that for awhile. I feel so bad and I'm doing my best to help him out and to take care of him. He says the pain isn't really bad at all anymore so that's a good thing.
Funny thing about all this is that we finally got our new couch on Tues while he was at school. THANKS GRANDMA MAE!!!! WE OWE YOU BIG TIME AND WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! WE LOVE IT AND IT MEANS THE WORLD TO US!!!!! Then this happened so he couldn't even come right home and sit on our new couch and enjoy it. He had to go straight to the bed to elevate and ice his ankle. But our couch is amazing!!!! I'm getting together some pictures of our apt and will post them within the next couple days. (As soon as I get my dresser in the bedroom so I can organize all my clothes haha) So there's the next post you can look forward to. Pictures of our little Home Sweet Home. :) Other than that we are just doing pretty dang good out here in Cali! We miss you all and love you tons!!!!!!!!
